What you'll do:
- Design and develop schematics and BOMs for highly reliable System on Chip based products, targeting for automotive applications
- Perform bench testing and simulation to prove out design at the circuit block level based on the requirements and function of that circuit.
- Collaborate with layout engineers, mechanical engineers, validation engineers, software engineers, firmware engineers, product engineers and other teams
- Collaboration with external design and manufacturing companies to establish knowledge transfer of technology
- Perform design/debug investigations and support development, maintenance, failure analysis, and resolution activities
- Develop and maintain all required documentation, such as block diagrams, schematics, manuals, BOMs, and test plans
What you'll bring:
- Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in Hardware Design
- Hands-on design experience in analog/digital electronics ranging from: RF, analog, digital, audio, video, power, electromechanical, low power, charging, touch display, and sensors
- Experience in design and layout of Ethernet and CAN Interface
- Experience with implementation of high-speed serial busses (NVME, PCIe, SATA, USB, MIPI, JESD) and/or high speed parallel busses such as: memory bus (DDR3/4
- Experience with implementation of communication protocol (SPI, I2C, TCP, UDP, etc.)
- Proficient in high speed digital design, signal integrity, PCB layout, RF/EMI/EMC/ESD mitigation techniques, simulation and power distribution techniques of modern processors
- Experience with Signal and Power Integrity simulation and testing
- Experience testing and validating motherboards in the laboratory
- Automotive Experience preferred in regards to EMC and Test requirements
- Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic tools such as oscilloscope, Vector Network Analyzer, Digital Multimeter, Spectrum Analyzers, etc.
